The San Diego Padres have been dealt a blow with the simultaneous placement of key starting pitchers Darvish Yu (38) and Joe Musgrove (32) on the disabled list.

Darvish has been the ace of the organization this season, going 4-3 with a 3.20 ERA in 11 games (56 1/3 innings). Musgrove is 3-4 with a 5.66 ERA in 10 games (49⅓ innings). All of these players are part of a rotation that is worth more than $100 million to San Diego.
