Ontario’s online gambling market is once expanding as Delta iGaming Inc. now officially debuts its digital bingo service for primary players. Delta Bingo Online is now Ontario’s only iGaming platform offering peer-to-peer iBingo, featuring top-slot themes and commitment to local charities. This launch was facilitated by the help of Broadway Gaming.
Delta Bingo Online operates under a gaming license registered with Delta iGaming Inc. and is managed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and is licensed as an iGaming operator under the Game Management Act of 1992 and the registration authority’s iGaming standards to provide iGaming legally in the state’s field.
To launch online bingo in Ontario, Delta Bingo partnered with Broadway Gaming by using Broadway Gaming’s state-of-the-art Dragonfish software. Delta Bingo Online is now the only regulated iBingo provider in the province. So it allows bingo-goers to play their favorite games online with other real-time players for some guaranteed prizes.
Additionally, for the event, Delta Bingo, which owns and operates numerous locations throughout the state, signed a partnership agreement with the Ontario Charitable Games Association. It can support nonprofits, families, youth, vulnerable groups and cultures, education, sports and recreation that serve the community.
Cam Johnstone, Ontario Commercial Gaming Association, board and owner, Delta iGaming, Inc. Vice Chairman, said local charities have suffered greatly over the past few years due to the emergence of unprecedented conditions. He believes this partnership will provide additional support for much-needed community organizations and initiatives and help bring balance to the charity gaming sector.
Meanwhile, Broadway Gaming CEO David Butler added that he is excited to work with bingo operators to support their website debut in Ontario through Dragonfish technology. He said their software, certification and professional services will allow operators to offer premium options for iBingo and other iGaming games to the local sector.
Ontario’s newly regulated market for private game operators is already the top five jurisdictions in North America, although data from the first 12 months of operations show it is somewhat new. In April, the state reported a total of C$35.6 billion in betting handles during the first year of iGaming. That’s translated into C$1.4 billion in gaming revenue, where players spend an average of C$70 per month.
In addition, the market will be bigger as more operators are eyeing the rollout in the state. Finally, Costa Rica-based operator 5Dimes says it has submitted an application to AGCO to become a licensed operator in Canada’s most populous state.
