Shin won his team quarterfinal matchup against Paranang .Both matches went to full games. Korea will play its first match against Pakistan at 11 a.m. on Nov. 22, followed by a second match against Thailand at 5 p.m. the same day. The men’s team, led by head coach Joo Se-hyuk, received an easier draw than the women’s team .Drawn in Group C with Thailand and Macau, the Thai men’s team has the highest singles world ranking of Padasak Thanviriyavechakul at No. 398.Korea will face Macau at 1 p.m. and Thailand at 7 p.m. on Nov. 22.The men’s and women’s team competitions at the tournament will be played by the first- and second-place teams in each group .The first-place teams from Groups A-D will advance directly to the second round of the tournament (quarterfinals), while the top two teams from Groups E-F and the second-place teams from each group will play a single-elimination round to determine the quarterfinalists. For both the men’s and women’s teams, hosts and heavy favorites China have been drawn into Group A, while Asia’s second-ranked team, Japan, is in Group B. South Korea must finish first in their group to improve their chances of meeting either China or Japan after the quarterfinals. The exception to this is North Korea, who could potentially meet in the quarterfinals if they finish second in their group. The North Korean men’s team is in Group B with Japan and Nepal, while 스포츠토토 the women’s team is in Group C with Chinese Taipei and the Maldives.
