Korean soccer star Son Heung-min (Tottenham) was not named in the English Premier League (EPL) season’s best 11 selected by legendary England striker Alan Shearer.

On the 23rd (local time), the EPL Secretariat announced a list of 11 top players selected by Shearer,

Shearer, who chose Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) and top scorer Erling Haaland (27 goals) as the top two,

replaced Phil Foden (player of the season) as the left wing attacker,

where Son Heung-min usually played.

Son Heung-min scored 17 goals and 10 assists this season, and his team Tottenham finished the season in 5th place.

Watkins scored two more goals than Son Heung-min and tied for fourth place in the scoring rankings with Dominic Solanke (Bournemouth).

His team, Aston Villa, beat Tottenham and took 4th place,

which is the Maginot line for advancing to the UEFA Champions League (UCL).

Foden scored 17 goals and 8 assists, and Manchester City achieved the feat of winning their 4th consecutive EPL title for the first time in history.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer, winner of the EPL Young Player Award, was selected for the right wing,

and the attacking midfielder position went to Arsenal’s key resource, Martin Odegaard.

Declan Rice, who works with Odegaard, and Manchester City’s Rodri were deployed as central midfielders.

Shearer chose a three-back with Ben White, William Saliba, and Gabriel Magalhaengs (Arsenal) at the back.

Arsenal conceded the fewest goals in the EPL this season.

They gave up only 29 goals in 38 games.

Alan Shearer chose Everton’s Jordan Pickford as the goalkeeper who showed the best performance this season.

He also selected Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City,

who won four consecutive titles, as the top coach.
