As he took over as coach of San Diego this season, he met Gold Glove winner Kim Ha-seong and continued his relationship with Korean players.
In this Seoul Series, he reunited with Kim Gwang-hyun.
Manager Roberts worked with Park Chan-ho, ‘Korea’s first big leaguer,’ and met Ryu Hyun-jin, ‘Korea’s best pitcher in the 21st century,’ as a starting pitcher with the Dodgers manager.
